The Pawtucket Family YMCA gives teens a safe place to call their own and a chance to connect
with positive role models and adults who care about them. Teen programs include youth
development activities, leadership groups, community service projects, exposure to diverse
career options, after-school activities, tutoring and mentoring, sports, camping, strength-
training, and fun, recreational events.
Active Adolescents: This program is designed to help children ages 8 -12 become physically active hrough various fitness activities. The children will learn how to incorporate fitness into their everyday lives and have fun while doing it. It is in a fitness learning environment with an active nd energetic instructor. All levels of fitness welcome!
WARM2Kids Computer Learning Center: WARM2Kids is an online information resource and role model community. The goal of the organization is to eliminate “silent suffering” by providing teens and young adults with safe, reliable information about the issues that concern them. The WARM2Kids earning Center Program provides free computer access to teens and the community. The program connects socially responsible companies and individuals with community and youth organizations to impact the social and emotional development of today’s youth through the use of the WARM2Kids website www.warm2kids.com
Homework Club: Come down after school and get your homework done with help from tutor’s
everyday in the Teen Center from 3 to 5. Do you have a question that you couldn’t get
answered in school? Our tutors know it all!!!
Fundraising Club: Got some ideas about how to raise money and plan trips? Then, this club is perfect or you!! There are lots of things that we can organize and raise money and you too can get involved! Come meet and talk about your ideas!
Leaders Club: The Leaders Club will focus on giving back to the neighborhood. Teens work closely with their peers and a counselor planning and organizing club projects and various community service projects. Have fun making a difference!
